CONTROVERSIAL RED-CARD AT CHAMPION HILL

Dulwich Hamlet reveresed the form book this afternoon and gained their first victory in nine games to keep up their play-off challenge in the Ryman Premier Division. Enfield Town didn't really show up in the first half which the home side dominated with many mis-placed passes from the away side inviting Hamlet on to attack and take a 2-0 lead into the break. Their first goal was scored via a penalty - there were no arguments with the foul given in the box. Ashley Carew confidently scored from the spot. Hamlet added a second when Albert Jarrett seized upon a poor ball from the back to cross for Xavier Vidal to score.

In front of brilliant crowd of 1,204 people with both sets of fans making lots of noise including a large number of travelling fans from North London the Enfield Town players dug deep and put in a much better performance in the second half. Nathan Livings scored a fantastic goal to make it 2-1 and Town put the pressure on looking for an equaliser but were never able to really cause Phil Wilson in the Hamlet goal any further trouble.

The talking point of the game came around 10 minutes from the end when Town substitute Michael Kalu was red-carded - looking at the replay it's hard to see what for! The Dulwich number 2 Jordan Hibbert tackles Stanley Muguo who goes to ground for Kalu to strongly tackle him with him then going to ground and then their feet get in a tangle followed by some "handbags" from both sides. Check out the video from 3mins 57secs to see if you think it was a sending-off incident!
