TOWNERS START WITH A DECENT PERFORMANCE AND GOOD VICTORY

HIGH VISABILITY - THE MET'S AWAY KIT!

Enfield Town started their 2013/14 Ryman League campaign with a really impressive performance against a strong Metropolitan Police side yesterday afternoon at The Queen Elizabeth Stadium. The visitors kept possession of the ball and passed it about well at time but it was Town who looked the more dangerous and created the most chances.

Emmanuel Osei, making his competitive debut for the police, was kept quiet and frustrated by Chris Wild all afternoon aside from the one clear cut chance he had which resulted in a goal which made for a tense ending the game. Liam Hope was in top finishing form and scored both goals for the Town who go to Kingstonian on Monday evening which will be a very tough game. The K's won 0-1 at Canvey Island on Saturday. The Town were backed throughout the 90 minutes by the noisy contingent of "Enfield Town Ultras" behind the goal and they all went home happy!
