HEAVY RAIN WIPES OUT MANY LOCAL GAMES

The heaven's opened for much of today water logging many pitches thus wiping out a number of the scheduled games in the local area. Six games in the Ryman Premier Division were postponed along with seven in Division One (North) and the whole of the Essex Senior League schedule was cancelled aside from Sawbridgeworth Town's 2-1 home victory against Takeley at Crofter's End.

The Cold End was at a very rainy Recreation Ground in Knebworth to witness Bushey Sports Club's convincing 1-8 victory against The Mighty K's. I caught some of the goals scored but in the end it was so wet my camera didn't like the conditions so much.

  1. At least Knebworth actually looks like a proper little football ground - better than the soulless Gosling etc
