ENFIELD TOWN TRAVEL TO IMBER COURT TOMORROW

Enfield Town manager George Borg has made two more new signings in time for the scheduled Ryman Premier Division game at Metropolitan Police tomorrow.

Centre-Forward Bertie Brayley has signed on a dual registered basis from Skrill South side Chelmsford City along with Marlon Thomas, who was most recently playing for Welling United.

Brayley started his career in 1999 as a youth player with West Ham United (he scored for the Hammers in the FA Youth Cup final of 1999)before joining Queens Park Rangers and Swindon Town where he made seven football league appearances. In 2002 he dropped into the non-league game with Canvey Island and went on to spend time with Heybridge Swifts (loan), Hornchurch, Braintree Town (loan), Billericay Town, Heybridge Swifts, Farnborough Town, Thurrock, Aldershot Town, Grays Athletic, Margate, Eastleigh, Braintree Town, Chelmsford City, Eastleigh, Chelmford City, Bishops Stortford, Braintree Town, Concord Rangers, Billericay Town, Harlow Town, Heybridge Swifts, Thurrock, Tooting and Mitcham United, Harlow Town, Basildon United (where he was player-manager last season) and finally Chelmsford City from whom he joins Enfield Town.

He has played sixteen times for City this season scoring three times against Staines Town, Tonbridge Angels and Farnborough.

Marlon Thomas, has spent time with the youth section at Charlton Athletic, and as stated more recently with the reserve side of Skrill Premier side Welling United. He is described by The Wings website as 'Quick & strong attacking player' and 'a bright star for the future.'

The game tomorrow is subject to a 9.15am pitch inspection at Imber Court. It needs a full dry day to make it playable & no more significant rainfall before kick off.
The forecast is for more heavy rain overnight, hence we have arranged a pitch inspection for tomorrow morning."
