SOUTHERN COUNTIES EAST PREMIER DIVISION GOING DOWN TO THE WIRE

The title race in the SCEFL Premier Division is looking like it will go down right to the wire as Ashford United and Crowborough Athletic are locked on 80 points each with only +12 goal difference seperating them.

Both teams have lost games in their last six league games played with the key one being Ashford's 3-1 defeat of Crowborough on Saturday 1st April in front of 459 people at Homelands. 

Crowbrough's last four games come at home to Lordswood (17th) on Saturday, away at Fisher (19th) on Bank Holiday Monday before a home game against Beckenham Town (20th) next Saturday and an away trip to Hollands & Blair (8th) on Saturday 29th April. 

Ashford host Fisher on Saturday before a 'trip*' to Canterbury City (9th) on Bank Holiday Monday. They then travel to Croydon FC (11th) next Saturday before hosting Rochester United (14th) on the final day of the season. 

* Canterbury City currently ground-share at Homelands. 

Arguably The Crows have the easier run in but they face three sides fighting relegation desperately in need of points and Ashford United have three 'home' fixtures so there is sure to be some twists and turns yet.
