RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION WEEKEND PREVIEW

Firstly we must all wish a massive good luck to Hendon, Burgess Hill Town, Harrow Borough, Billericay Town, Merstham, Tonbridge Angels and Leiston who are all in Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round action - just 90 minutes away from the First Round Proper. The game between Leiston and Westfields sees two clubs in great form meet as Step Three league leaders play Step Five league leaders. Leiston's only defeat came in their Ryman League Cup game which saw a much changed team (only Seb Dunbar and Joe Jefford started from their previous league game) go down 3-6 at D1N side Brightlingsea Regent.

Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round

fixtures involving Ryman League Teams

Boreham Wood v Hendon
A trip to Vanarama National side is a tough game for Hendon.
Burgess Hill Town v Dover Athletic
Ninth in the Vanarama National Dover Athletic will be favourites for this but they won't relish the trip to Burgess Hill Town.
Harrow Borough v Margate
Margate have one win from six games in league games and narrowly won 1-2 at D1S Hastings United in the last round. Harrow's striker Ibrahim Meite has been very impressive of late attracting scouts from the football league and Premier League of whom Leicester City have taken him on a recent trial. Could he be the new Jamie Vardy? Could he be the difference in this game?
Maidstone United v Billericay Town
Another tough game as The Blues travel to The Gallagher Stadium.
Merstham v Ebbsfleet United
The Fleet thrashed Havant 7-0 in the last round and have a playing budget that is reportedly the envy of many of the Vanarama National sides - Merstham love to score goals so there could be a few scored here.
Tonbridge Angels v Dartford
A Kent derby which should be well attended. Step three v Step Two. The Darts are in good form winning four and drawing two of their last six league games.
Westfields v Leiston

Ryman Premier Division

fixtures for Saturday 15th October
Bognor Regis Town v AFC Sudbury
The game of the day if league placings are looked at as 4th place welcomes 6th in the current table. There is now a five point gap between 5th and 6th place so, although there are many games to play, AFC will not want to lose ground on the play-off zone with a defeat here.
Enfield Town v Wingate & Finchley

MORE FLAGS THAN FANS - WINGATE'S LOYAL SUPPORTERS WILL BE IN TOWN TODAY
The real North London Derby games between the two rivals are always feisty affairs with some added spice being ex Wingate midfielder Scott Shulton recently signing for Enfield Town and fan's favourite Claudio Vilcu, who scored the winner for Enfield Town at Wingate last season, joining Keith Rowland's squad.

Folkestone Invicta v Kingstonian
19th v 9th in the table. The K's have two wins from six games on their travels with Folkestone winning two of five at home losing only once. Very difficult game to predict so it may well end a draw.  Harlow Town v Staines Town
The Hawks have had their best form at home winning four from six league games. The Swans have won two, drawn two and lost one away from home. Harlow have had heavy defeats in their last three games (0-4, 1-3, 2-5) with Staines narrowly losing to league leader's Leiston (2-3) last weekend, a 1-0 victory against Leatherhead and a very good 1-1 draw against in form title contender's Havant.
Leatherhead v Dulwich Hamlet
The Tanners lost 0-1 to Havant on Wednesday described as a "comfortable victory, not a 7 goal thriller, but a competant and confident win" on Havant's website. Since taking over as Manager Jimmy Bullard has a record of one win, three draws and three defeats. Hamlet have two wins in their last six games against teams from the bottom half of the table in Lowestoft Town and Folkestone Invicta. They will need to up their win% if they want to get anywhere near the play-off zone this season - it currently stands at four wins from thirteen games (30.77%) - they won twenty-three from forty-six (50%) to finish fifth last campaign. They have signed centre forward Dumebi Dumaka on a two month loan deal from Vanarama National side Maidstone United this week - the ex Grays Athletic player has slipped down the pecking order at The Stones following their promotion to non-league's top table - He has already spent time on loan at Vanarama South Concord Rangers this season - I wouldn't want to bet against him scoring on his debut for Hamlet and bagging more than a few goals in his spell at Champion Hill.

This game at Fetcham Grove is a repeat of the famous 2011 Division One South play-off final which ended 4-3 AET.

DULWICH (TOP) AND LEATHERHEAD (BOTTOM) FANS IN THE 2011 PLAY-OFF FINAL
Metropolitan Police v Lowestoft Town
24th v 11th. The Met celebrated their first win last weekend picking up a 1-2 victory at Canvey Island. The Trawlerboys have had their best form on the road with three wins from seven games as opposed to one win from six games at Crown Meadow. After relegation from the Vanarama North division the Suffolk side announced via their website that their playing budget was 40% lower than when they were last at this level so I think everyone at the club will be happy if they finish the season in around about the same place they are in now. It's a long journey from the Suffolk Coast to Imber Court (300+ round trip) but not as long as 440 round trip the club were making to Curzon Ashton this time last year (Sat 10th October 2015) - they won't want the same result as they lost 4-1 in that game.
Needham Market v Worthing
The Marketmen are in third position and have made an amazing start to the season - their visitors will be very happy with the 10th position they are currently placed after promotion from D1S last season. Worthing have let in 14 goals in their last six games compared to 10 in their first six games so this could be the difference here. The home side are in form winning four of their last six games.
