The race for the title in the Hertsavers Hertfordshire Senior County League Premier Division is still on with the favourites now being Bedmond Sports and Social who just have to win their last game of the season scheduled for Saturday 31st May at Standon and Puckeridge. They could even afford to lose this game if Belstone lose one of their two remaining games at Bush Hill Rangers (this Wednesday evening at Goldsdown Road) and Standon next Saturday.
Bedmond won 10-1 on Saturday at home to Letchworth Garden City Eagles with Bedmond winning 5-2 at home to Chipperfield Corinthians. What could be the key game came on Saturday 26th April when Belstone lost 2-1 at Bedmond.
Whatever happens both clubs have been steadily progressing over the past few seasons with Bedmond promoted from Division One last season and Belstone in 2011/12
