FA CARLSBERG TROPHY UPDATE

The Cold End couldn't get to Enfield Town's FA Trophy game with Lowestoft Town on Saturday in which a brilliant 2-1 victory was recorded with centre-back Lee White performing wonders in goal in the second half after Noel Imber went off injured. The Town have been rewarded with a home tie against either Ryman Premier rival's Grays Athletic or Division One (South) Herne Bay. They drew 1-1 at the weekend and the replay takes place tomorrow evening at Winch's Field.

Even with the draw on a regional basis at this stage of the competition there are still some hefty journeys in store for some teams. Bideford, currently third in the Calor League Premier Division, travel to Earlsmead to play Harrow Borough which is a round trip of nearly 450 miles. Clevedon Town, twenty-first in the Calor League Division One South and West, travel to Margate for a seaside v seaside game with their round trip being roughly the same distance.

If Soham Town Rangers get past Grantham Town in their replay they will entertain Chorley (third in the Evo-Stik League Premier Division which is another 450ish mile round trip.
