WEEKEND PREVIEW OF LOCAL NON-LEAGUE MATCHES

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MIDDLESEX DERBY GAMES IN THE RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION ON SATURDAY
There are two Middlesex Derby games in the Ryman Premier Division this weekend as Enfield Town welcome Hendon to Donkey Lane and Harrow Borough welcome Wealdstone to Earlsmead. These two games will be good preparation for the big one on Bank Holiday Monday when Enfield Town travel to play Wealdstone at Grosvenor Vale.

Hendon have an impressive squad including ex Chelsea and Leeds United defender Michael Dubbery who was born in Enfield. They won their first game of the season away at Thamesmead Town by 0-4 but have since lost at home to Dulwich Hamlet, Maidstone United and way on Tuesday night at Leiston. Gary McCann's side will certainly want to get back to winning ways tomorrow afternoon and most certainly put one over on The Town who won both league games last season which makes for a interesting game in prospect. They were by all accounts unlucky not to get at least a point in their narrow midweek defeat in Suffolk. It will be a tight match according to the bookies with Town slight favourites at 5/4 and Hendon at 13/8. A draw is rated at 5/2.

Harrow's match with Wealdstone will attract a decent crowd at Earlsmead of at least 600+. The Stones are 10/11 favourites and will be in a confident mood following their victory at Hampton and Richmond in midweek but don't discount Harrow at 23/10 who got their first clean sheet and put in their best performance in the goal-less draw with Kingstonian on Tuesday night. The draw is rated at 5/2.

Table topper's Grays Athletic who are the only side with a 100% winning record make the short trip to East Thurrock United. The Rocks have made an indifferent start to the season but TheColdEnd thinks they will get back to winning ways tomorrow as Grays (who are a decent side) are due a defeat in their first season back at this level of football. Of course I am here to be proved wrong and I usually am!  Ex Gray's midfielder Stuart Thurgood has made the move from Thurrock to East Thurrock United this week and should feature against his old side.

Elsehwere Dulwich Hamlet (2nd) face Carshalton Athletic (18th), Maidstone United (4th) entertain Lewes (5th) and Kingstonian (3rd) take their amazing defensive record (four clean sheets in a row) to Wingate and Finchely (13th).
